on the 19th day...

today is the 19th day of the holy month of Ramadhan... still have to put a leash on my appetite for food and beverage... and also on my anger and lust..

today is also a day which many people expected to be one of those day which they've got good moments in life.. the September 9th of 2009... it's 09/09/09 if you still haven't got the clue yet... many people seems to plan to have their "Big Day" today...


for me, the number Triple 9 very much related to the fine machines that rolled out from the Ducati factory... haven't got the chance to throw the hammer down on this bike, but i'm sure it is an experience of its own... i hope that the people who owns them took it out for a ride today.. to work perhaps, or maybe blastin' down some highways...

after posting the previous post below, and the fast machine to cruise above, i know that there's a big appetite i still have to put a leash on.. my appetite for riding..!!

well, Betsy the Ironhead is still on my friend Jawir's shop for new pulley for my primary drive... it should be finished before last weekend, but the raw material is hard to find, so it have to wait 'till next week for it to be installed... bummer..!!

but, after a while talking and sitting on my dusty bike, i saw these 1" diameter tubes lying around and i got this itch on the back of my head... Voila...!! i'm up for new bars on my bike... somethin' a bit more suitable for lanesplittin'... i guess good things sometimes do came up after unwanted disappointment... now, my appetite for riding just got bigger n bigger...!! still got to put a leash on that, while hoping for plans to be fulfilled and empty roads of Jakarta by the time i got back home... wish me luck..!
