Pompadour

Pompadour is a very kool hair style. In fact, it's the slick hair style that give rock 'n roll it's identity, sexy swagger and rebel attitude. The name "pompadour" taken from Madame de Pompadour (Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, Duchesse du Pompadour), a notorious mistress of King Louis XV of France.

The pompadour became a trend during the 1950s among the rockabilly musicians and the young actors at the time.
