rainy Friday....
last Friday, Centre Culturel Francais de Jakarta held this Fete de La Musique (or "Pesta Musik" as the locals would call it) at the Roling Stones Live Venue at Ampera Jakarta... it was raining heavily at start, so the event kinda stalled for a while... but, not to woried, multiple giant screen TV was broadcasting one of the World Cup matches to kill the time...
Olivier was there wondering what the main attraction is all about... the band, Java, is this French-4 person-band with one of them playing this French musical instrument (forgive me folks, i dont know what it's called...) with a hip-hop beat... it was AMAZING...!! too bad, i don't know the lyrics...
but for me, the main attraction is to see The Authentics played...!!! they really heat up the night as the opening act... the guitarist even slipped at the wet stage on their opening track... big laugh, big fun, and their performance was AWESOME... cant wait to see their gig again..!!

the weather is not so kind on us this last few week... i've counted 9 of my friend that was sick last weeekend... so, heads up folks..!! keep it warm and take some vitamin C... wish you all some healthy days ahead...!!

big wheels...
as a kid, i'm always facinated with heavy-big vehicles... you name it, from dump trucks to semis, and even the one people use to mix cement with..!! nowadays, as a big kid working in an oil company, from time to time i get to see these big wheels in live size...
like yesterday, i've got the chance to check out this GMC truck... it's being use as a logging unit to retreave data from inside the well bore... it's definitely huge with all of its equipment and even a crane on it's back... and those GMC logo always reminds me of Vero's Truckculla... sweet..!!

heating up 'n cooling down....
last Sunday morning's plan was to heat up Marni and taking her out for a ride... well, so does Desu and Vero eager to take a ride in the morning... and after a nice chat at Kickass Choppers HQ, we're off to filled up the bike and search for some breakfast...
we ended up at this small East Java style food depot... first thing we ordered orange juice-coconut water to wash the thirst away...!! and then some food... Iman and Ical the stop by and join us for the chat...
later, we split to Rocket, again to cool off... meet up with some friends and some cold ice tea...
some BMX guys showed up that day, with their boxes and some ramps, doing their neat tricks and grinds... one guy even try to jump off from the upper part of the parking lot.. a healthy 6 feet of height..!!
after a while, we try to heat things up again with some satay... Padang style..!! complete with some kampong style Krupuks... to cool off after that, a handfull amount of ice Doger... with its tasty two type of tapai.. slrrp...!!
one more splendid weekend closed with amazing activities with good friends..!! can't wait to see you again bors..!!
