yes folks, she's back in to the Greaser's Temple and Saint & sinnerS Motorclothes extended family... Sammy from Seringai & Lawless Jakarta is now the proud owner of this beauty... waste no time, she is fitted with a new set of shoes up front.. can't wait to ride with (along side) her again..

i guess this is my last pictures of her... the way i wanted to remember my first one...

healthy as a new engine should... always start after a kick or two... a lil' leak, but hey, at least she still got oil in it...

my miss-matched Super Sixties grips... which gives me a lot of thinkin "yellow or green... green or yellow..??" heck, let do both..!!

no i'm not not moving to a new house, but she is...

yup, she's got a new owner now... sold her to my friend Jason just before new year's eve... it's kinda sad to let go, but i know she's in a good home now (and got some awesome new friends to share that garage with)... so i guess i have to move on...

Dog House is what workers at Drilling Rigs called their place to rest and have a coffee break or snacks... well, that corner of my garage is hers (not for the coffee or snacks, just some oil change or quick bath)... guess i'll wake her up next Friday, and hope for good weather... if not, i'll just wake up the rest of the neighborhood...

fasting do you good...

what's up folks..?? or should i say what's down..?? because the holy month of Ramadhan have showed me that fasting can really do you good... i loose 'bout 4 Kg of weight after 29 days of fasting from dawn 'till dusk...

"Selamat Hari Raya" or Happy Iedul/Aidil Fitri for those of you who celebrate them... sorry for the belated wishes, just got back from my "away from the computer" days of lazy morning-wrenchin' afternoon-ride at night kinda thing... (the lazy morning, combined with all the traditional-home-cooked-with-coconut milk meals at every relative's house that we must visit, kinda gained more weight than the 4 i've lost last month...)

on the topic of loosing some weight, Betsy the Ironhead also loose some body fat.... switched to a nice T-bar and a ribbed primary cover... circumstances forces me back to the old WL air cleaner, but still, the whole bike is doin' some good lane splittin' through the week...

will be posting some more shots soon...

some hopes just don't turn out the way you wanted...

on the first week of August i posted this picture... really love this angle of her... and on that day, i hoped that my tweeking moods would be leashed until... well October.. but, this is just mid- September and i guess this is her last picture looking like that... she'll still have that nice curve on the seat and rear fender though... but, slimmer and perkier... =)

hopefully the mood for tweekin and wrenchin would come after October (or until some new parts arrived)... beause i really love her new look for now... comin home tonight to Jose's wedding... and also Batavia Bike Week on Jakarta's old part of the town... Sunday ride with Wra and the ussual suspects..?? bottom line, i'm riding this weekend... how bout you folks..?? hope you'll have a pleasent one... Santey Bor..!!

this is what Betsy look like after almost a month of tear-downs and re-works... frame and jugs lookin' shiny... engine parts already polished.. the new pegs is also there... just waiting for new brake pads and clutch spring to be installed, and also new grips and new air cleaner cover... and the lowered front forks... and the new ribbed primary cover... cant wait for next week..!!

i miss her...

this is the last picture i take of her before she went in to makeover... the cracked primary cover kinda brought in a blessing in disguise... i guess its time to rework on sum stuff... the primary cover is first.. new cluctch springs.. lowered the front-end.. re-paint the frame.. new air cleaner.. metalflake handgrips.. blah.. blah.. blah.. i guess it's almost four weeks since i left her.. can't wait to get home and see her new stands...

so, last week started with my primary cover cracked and it bleeds oil... it kinda jolted the bike when i was in the third gear, just as i throttle after a stop light.. thank god the traffic was kind enough on early sunday morning, otherwise, i could be hitted from the rear on an average Jakarta weekdays...

thank god the primary chain or the clutch hub was'nt the problem... fyyuuuhhh...!!

one of the retaining bolt from the chain tension adjuster got loose and got stuck between the clutch hub and the primary cover...

well, as all of my riding buddies said that day: "Bor, i guess its that time...."

it's that time of the month where after almost two weekof working in Borneo i get to go home to Jakarta... planning to go out and ride this weekend... Wra is also planning to ride Saturday night... perhaps also ride with Vero and the Kickass Choppers crew on Sunday morning... hopefully god is kind enough to let us ride this weekend in pleasant wheather...

i just got back from a two weeks assignment in East Borneo, and i haven't been posting anything lately... just got my bike washed this morning, so i guess there will be some ridin' and some more post to come...
