Two Bad

need i say more on this bike...?? for those of you who don't ever saw this masterpiece, it Arlen Ness's Two Bad... built out of two Ironhead Sportster engines... concept, fabrication, machinery, and details flawless-ly executed...

take a look at every deatil on that bike... framework without top tubes, the horizontal frontend, two Ironheads with magnetos + four barrel carburetors + supercharger (i assumed you folks know the hassle of running a single Ironhead...) that work together... not to mention the paintjob + engraving + gold leafing + gold plating...

i'm really sorry that i forget from where i took this pictures... but i've seen a lot of it posted at Magneto Zoo... built buy a guy name Peter... it's a 65 Ironhead with dual throttle Amals... he really knows what he's doing... nothin much, simple, with tons of performance packed in to it...

Dago's Sporty...

i always love the sexy look of Ironhead sporty... slim, compact, with perky cylinder heads...

narrow front end with 21" spool hub wire wheels gives a lovely lean and long looks...

even with the perfect sized rear ends and a just-right sissy bar... sexy...

the pictures of the bike was stolen from Dago's Speed Shop... but the girl seems to get in the way..

is it doable with Jakarta's wheather..??

Ironhead revenge

History is definitely on the side of the mighty Sportster. It's the lightest, sleekest, and inch-for-inch the powerhouse of the extensive Harley-Davidson history. Unveiled in 1957, the unit construction mill with trapdoor gearbox was the evolution of the K-models that ripped up the street and strip. A major innovation of the XL motor was the inclusion of overhead valves and the addition of the iconoclastic Shovelhead-style rocker-arm covers. Retained from the K were the four-cam configuration and transmission cavity cast into the crankcase. The quad-cam arrangement meant better valve control through reduced pushrod angles, and the one-piece motor/tranny case made the combo lighter and more rigid than a Big Twin.
