rainy Friday....

last Friday, Centre Culturel Francais de Jakarta held this Fete de La Musique (or "Pesta Musik" as the locals would call it) at the Roling Stones Live Venue at Ampera Jakarta... it was raining heavily at start, so the event kinda stalled for a while... but, not to woried, multiple giant screen TV was broadcasting one of the World Cup matches to kill the time...

Olivier was there wondering what the main attraction is all about... the band, Java, is this French-4 person-band with one of them playing this French musical instrument (forgive me folks, i dont know what it's called...) with a hip-hop beat... it was AMAZING...!! too bad, i don't know the lyrics...

but for me, the main attraction is to see The Authentics played...!!! they really heat up the night as the opening act... the guitarist even slipped at the wet stage on their opening track... big laugh, big fun, and their performance was AWESOME... cant wait to see their gig again..!!
